Robin Pharo commence son apprentissage de la musique et de la viole de gambe avec Jean-Louis Charbonnier, Caroline Howald, Ariane Maurette puis avec Christophe Coin au CNSMD de Paris. Il est aujourd’hui membre fondateur du quatuor Nevermind avec qui il remporte le 3ème prix ainsi que le prix du festival à la Van Wassenaer Competition d’Utrecht. En 2019, Nevermind a déjà été invité à se produire partout en Europe, en Russie, en Islande, aux Etats-Unis et a enregistré trois disques, Conversation (2016), Quatuors Parisiens (2017) et Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (2021) pour le label Alpha. Robin Pharo se produit aux côtés de Benjamin Lazar dans le spectacle L’Autre Monde ou les états et Empires de la lune et a travaillé avec d’autres ensembles comme Le Poème Harmonique (Vincent Dumestre), La Grande Ecurie et la Chambre du Roy (Jean-Claude Malgoire), l’ensemble Pygmalion (Raphaël Pichon), Capriccio Stravagante (Skip Sempé), l'ensemble Desmarest (Ronan Khalil), l’ensemble La Rêveuse (Florence Bolton et Benjamin Perrot), l’ensemble Marguerite-Louise (Gaétan Jarry), La Tempête (Simon-Pierre Bestion de Camboulas), l'ensemble Maja (Bianca Chillemi), Vox Luminis (Lionel Meunier), l’ensemble Gilles Binchois (Dominique Vellard), La Capella Mediterranea (Leonardo Garcia Alarcon), L'Achéron (François Joubert-Caillet), etc…
Robin Pharo enregistre pour le label Paraty le disque L’Anonyme Parisien. Passionné par son instrument, Robin Pharo improvise et compose depuis toujours. En duo avec Anaïs Bertrand, il crée un cycle pour viole de gambe et voix de Fabien Touchard et une pièce de Rika Suzuki. Il collabore avec le chorégraphe Thierry Thieu Niang et élabore la musique du spectacle Au Cœur, à l’affiche du Festival d’Avignon IN en 2016. En 2018, il se produira à nouveau au festival d’Avignon IN, dans le cadre du spectacle Romances Inciertos, imaginé par le danseur François Chaignaud et le metteur en scène Nino Laisné. Il travaille également avec des compositeurs tels que Philippe Hersant (pour les pièces Hypnos et La Harpe de David), Rika Suzuki, Yassen Vodenitcharov et Jean-Marc Chouvel (pour la pièce Les Trois Ailes du papillon). En avril 2012, il joue en duo avec Bobby McFerrin, au théâtre du Châtelet.

He’s one of the founders of the Nevermind quatuor with whom he wins the 3rd prize along with the prize of the Van Wassanaer Competition from Utrecht. Robin Pharo records a disc called L’Anonyme Parisien for the Paraty label. Passionate about music, Robin Pharo has always been improvising and composing. Duetting with Anaïs Bertrand, he creates a cycle for viola da gamba and voice from Fabien Touchard, and another piece signed Rika Suzuki. He partnered with the choregraph Thierry Thieu Niang and produced the soundtrack of the Au Coeur dance show, programmed in the Avignon Festival IN in 2016. In 2018, he plays again in Avignon Festival as part of the Romances Inciertos show, imagined by the dancer François Chaignaud and the director Nino Laisné. He also works with composers such as Philippe Hersant (for Hypnos and The Halp of David pieces), Rika Suzuki, Yassen Vodenitcharov and Jean-Marc Chouvel (for Les Trois Ailes Du Papillon piece). In April 2012, he plays in duo with Bobby McFerrin, at Théâtre du Châtelet.
